
FARM FUNDRAISER
Narrow Way Farms is located in McDonough, Georgia. The current land steward is moving on to another endeavor and has given Greene Clothe the opportunity to become the next land stewards before the land goes to public sale.
Greene Clothe aims to keep a collective and cooperative approach by working with other farmers that are committed to seeing Narrow Way Farm remain a cornerstone in demonstrating land and food sovereignty.

Background
Narrow Way Farm was first owned and operated by Helen Dubose, the first African-American woman to earn an agricultural degree in the United States.
The current owner, Russell Brydson is a Jamaican farmer that currently stewards the land and has turned 12 acres (7 active) into profitable land.
Jennifer Thompson, the founder of Greene Clothe, joined circles with Russell through her position as Farmer Market Manager over 4 years ago and has interned at the farm over the past 6 months.
Three farmers so far have committed to joining this project and reimagining the present and future food systems of the south. Niamke S-B., Twandalaya D-C., and daria d.
THE MUTUAL AID ASK
We have been requested to provide a $50,000.00 deposit by Friday, February 28, 2025.
Our goal is to raise 2.5 million by March 31, 2025 to cover the the full farm purchasing cost and about a year of personnel and startup expenses.
